Safe deposit boxes provided by our bank offer a secure solution for storing clients' valuable possessions, high-value items, or important documents, safeguarding them against theft, fire, tampering, loss, and other potential risks.
Features
- Three Sizes: Our safe deposit boxes come in three sizes – large, medium, and small – catering to various storage needs.
- The relationship between the bank and the client: It is a relationship between the lessor and the tenant for a service, in exchange for this service the bank charges a rental fee for the box.
- Confidentiality: While the bank is not required to know the contents of the box, it is obligated to maintain confidentiality. The bank may inspect items intended for placement in the box if necessary.
- Security Measures: Safe deposit boxes are housed in a secure room to ensure their safety. Access to the box room is restricted, with surveillance cameras and other security measures in place to prevent unauthorized access.
- Access Control: Customers are granted access to their safe deposit boxes during business hours on working days. Access to the box room is only allowed after clients' names have been registered and they have signed the appropriate register.
- Prohibited Items: Customers are prohibited from storing items that pose a risk to the safety of the box or its surroundings, or items that are forbidden by law. The bank reserves the right to inspect and take necessary action in case of violation.
- Duration: The rental contract for safe deposit boxes is yearly.
- Branches Available: Safe deposit box services are available in the Erbil Branch (main branch) and Zakho Branch.
Requirements to Rent a Safe Box
It is required to open a bank account for the customer requesting the service, taking into account the due diligence procedures for opening the account.
